With HDO, Oakley lenses meet or exceed the testing standards of the American National Standards Institute (the yardstick of performance for the eyewear industry).
The Clarity Test measures the sharpness of images viewed through the lens. The Refractive Power Test measures how inferior lenses distort vision by magnifying images, and the Prism Test measures how the lenses bend light and make objects appear shifted from their true position. These tests show how conventional lenses can compromise your vision.

Our HDPolarized lenses are in a class by themselves. We use a precise infusion molding process to produce one comprehensive, single-layered lens. No glue, no sandwiching, no mustard or mayo. Just the clearest Polarized lens you can find.
