Shoei CWR-1 Pinlock-Ready Face Shield Helmet Accessories (REFURBISHED)
The CWR-1 Pinlock-Ready Face Shield fits Shoei RF1200, RF SR and X-14 Helmets and provides a vast field of vision that rivals other face shields. In addition to protecting against 99% Of the sun's damaging UV rays, the CWR-1 face shield offers a distortion-free view throughout the entire range thanks to Shoei's 3D injection-molding process. While the CWR-1 does not feature the Vortex Generators found on the CWR-F, innovative ribs on the top and bottom edge of the shield improve rigidity and eliminate the bending that may occur from wind pressure and during the opening and closing process. Finally, the improved shield locking mechanism rounds out Shoei's most advanced shield system to date.
Pinlock lens insert sold separately.

Each helmet model has small differences in its shape that ultimately affect the fit. For this reason, it is essential to test a helmet before buying it. Test whether it sits on your head properly by putting on the helmet and moving your head to the left and right, as well as up and down while holding the helmet firmly with both hands. If your head can move too freely within the helmet, we recommend that you try a smaller size. If you feel local pressure points, then choose a helmet that is one size larger, or perhaps try on a different model.
Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement.
